1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Tube Responder ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
Tube Responder is a decision-support tool for YouTube creators to manage and respond to their channel's comments more efficiently. It allows creators to:
- Read and organize their channel's comments and videos
- Analyze comment sentiment
- Generate AI-powered reply suggestions
- Post replies to comments directly via the YouTube Data API, only upon explicit user action
Tube Responder is not an automation tool. It does not post, schedule, or take any action on YouTube without the user explicitly triggering it.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
By using the Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be:
- At least 13 years old
- Legally capable of entering into a binding contract
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, parental or guardian consent is required.
4. Account
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
5. YouTube Integration & API Scope
By connecting your YouTube account, you authorize us to access the YouTube Data API on your behalf using the youtube.force-ssl OAuth scope.
Why this scope is required: Posting replies to comments requires write-level API access. The youtube.force-ssl scope is the minimum scope that enables this functionality, and it also covers the read operations needed to retrieve your channel, video, and comment data.
What we actually do with this access:
- Read your channel metadata, video metadata, and comments — read only
- Post a reply to a comment only when you explicitly click "Send"
What we never do with this access:
- Modify, upload, or delete videos
- Delete comments posted by others
- Post replies automatically, on a schedule, or in bulk without your explicit action per reply
- Perform any background actions on your YouTube account
- Take any action not directly initiated by you within the Service
You remain fully responsible for all content posted through the Service to your YouTube channel.
Your use of YouTube features is also subject to:
You may revoke our access at any time:
- Within Tube Responder — any YouTube data cached on our servers is automatically deleted within 7 calendar days
- Via Google Account Security settings — our system automatically detects the revocation and deletes any YouTube data cached on our servers within 7 calendar days
This deletion refers to data stored on our infrastructure and does not affect content on YouTube itself.
6. AI Disclaimer
AI-generated reply suggestions:
- Are not guaranteed to be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your audience
- Must be reviewed before publishing
- Are used entirely at your own risk
- Are performed solely to provide features explicitly requested by you within the Service
Sentiment analysis is an AI-generated classification applied to comment text solely for organizational and response assistance purposes within Tube Responder. It does not represent or replace YouTube metrics, is not derived from YouTube analytics data, and is not displayed as a YouTube measurement.
You are solely responsible for any content published to your YouTube channel through the Service, including AI-generated replies. We are not liable for any consequences arising from published AI content, including reputational harm, community disputes, or platform policy violations.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Service to:
- Send spam or unsolicited messages
- Post abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or illegal content
- Harass or harm commenters or third parties
- Violate YouTube's, Google's, or any other platform's policies
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse our API
- Misuse AI-generated content in violation of applicable law
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations without prior notice.
8. Subscriptions, Billing & Pricing
Plans and payment:
- Paid plans may apply — see our [pricing page] for details
- Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period
Pricing guarantee:
- Your subscription price is locked for your current billing period — we will never increase your price mid-cycle
- Any price change will take effect at the earliest at your next renewal date
- We will notify you of any price increase with a minimum of 30 days' advance notice by email
- During that 30-day notice period, you may cancel your subscription and receive a pro-rata refund for any unused days in your current billing period
- If you do not cancel before the renewal date, the new price applies at renewal
Refunds:
- Outside of a price change notice period, refunds may be granted at our discretion within 14 days of a charge for material service issues
- Contact us at contact@tuberesponder.com to request a refund
9. Intellectual Property
- We own the Service, software, UI, and all related IP
- You retain ownership of your YouTube channel content and tone profile data
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide the Service
- Feedback or suggestions you submit may be used to improve the Service without compensation
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free availability
- Accuracy of AI-generated suggestions
- Continued availability or compatibility with the YouTube API
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or goodwill
- Consequences of published AI-generated content
- YouTube API outages or changes
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
- CHF 100
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. In such cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Content you publish via the Service
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
- Your violation of third-party rights
13. Service Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of significant changes.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for:
- Violations of these Terms
- Non-payment
- Activity that could harm us, other users, or third parties
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting contact@tuberesponder.com. Upon termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
Disputes will first be addressed amicably. If unresolved, they are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Canton], Switzerland.
EU consumers may also access the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
16. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Data Processing Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tube Responder.
